The Poetry Corner: Reading of What's Poetry Like?

The Poetry Corner series focuses on the slow and careful reading of Bianca Stone's poem What's Poetry Like?, originally published in The New Yorker and later featured in her collection The Near and Distant World. The session is dedicated to analyzing the poem's meditation on language, meaning, and the writing process. Bianca Stone, the current Poet Laureate of Vermont, is a visual artist and author of several acclaimed poetry collections. She is also the co-founder of the Ruth Stone House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to poetry and the arts.
