Smutwood Peak

Smutwood Peak is a demanding hike covering a distance of 19km with an elevation gain of 900m, offering views of Birdwood lakes, Mount Birdwood, and Mount Smuts. Participants must maintain a steady, moderate pace and possess the required physical fitness. Essential equipment includes hiking boots, a helmet, warm layers, rain and wind protection, sufficient water, bear spray, sun and insect protection, and a first-aid kit. Participants are responsible for assessing trail, weather, and road conditions and must prioritize their own safety.
