Hiking Squamish Stawamus Chief

The Stawamus Chief trail, commonly known as "The Chief," is a challenging and technical route recommended for experienced hikers. The path involves significant elevation gain through large stair-like structures, and higher sections require navigating chains and ladders. The connection between the first and second peaks involves climbing, making it suitable only for those with climbing experience. Successful hikers are rewarded with expansive views of the sea, the provincial park, and surrounding trails. All participants are responsible for their own safety and must sign a liability waiver.
