A guided walking tour explores the Tawatinâ Bridge, featuring over 500 paintings that depict the River Valley’s flora and fauna alongside First Nations, Métis, and settler histories. The artworks reflect the complex, intertwined relationships between local residents and the surrounding environment. The project, led by artist David Garneau with a diverse group of contributors, captures Edmonton’s changing seasons and layered narratives. David Garneau, a Professor in Painting and Drawing and a recipient of the Governor General’s Award, developed these works through collaborations with Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
