Maison de l’Afrique Open Mic & Jam Session

The Maison de l’Afrique Open Mic & Jam Session provides a space for musicians, singers, and music lovers to connect through live performance and improvisation. The evening is divided into an open mic portion for pre-selected songs and a collaborative jam session where participants can play, sing, and improvise. Available equipment includes a house keyboard, cajon, hand drums, a 12-channel mixer, sound system, and house amplifiers. The event consists of two 45-minute sessions with an intermission, and a fee of 10 dollars per person is charged to cover operating expenses.
