Bike Ride - Brae Island / Barnston Island Loop

A 55.6 km moderate-difficulty bicycle ride featuring a loop that includes paved roads and hard-packed trails. The route navigates the Fort to Fort Trail, Golden Ears Greenway, Port Kells, and Barnston Island via ferry, passing through Tynehead Park and local area roads. Participants are required to wear a helmet, bring a packed lunch and water, and ensure their bicycles are in good working order. Carrying a repair kit and extra inner tubes is recommended.
