Invasive Plant Removal Event

This environmental initiative focuses on removing invasive plant species, including Ivy, Holly, Laurel, and Blackberry, to protect local maple trees. Organized by the City of Burnaby, the Byrne Creek Streamkeepers Society, and Green Teams of Canada, the project aims to improve ecological health and promote community engagement. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate, as training, tools, and necessary safety gear are provided for all attendees.
