Wireless LAN Analysis Seminar using Wireshark

This seminar provides a comprehensive overview of wireless LAN measurement, capture, and analysis. Participants will learn techniques for IEEE 802.11 dump analysis, visualization, and troubleshooting across the physical, data link, and security layers. Practical exercises involve using spectrum analyzers to monitor 2.4, 5, and 6GHz bands for interference and DFS, as well as using capture tools like CommView for WiFi, Eye P.A. (Chanalyzer 6), and Linux to analyze protocol behaviors and communication state transitions using Wireshark 4.x. Furthermore, the curriculum covers wireless security through the analysis of WPA2 and WPA3 protocols using open-source tools to understand current threats and vulnerabilities.
