Bee Philosophy Room Vol. 6: Sutra Copying

· 5-chōme-15-17 Higashigotanda, Shinagawa City, Tokyo 141-0022 일본

Bee Philosophy Room is a space for open discussions about life and personal experiences. This sixth session involves a visit to a temple to practice Shakyo, the traditional act of hand-copying Buddhist sutras. Participants focus on the sensory experience of ink and brushwork to observe their internal thoughts and feelings at their own pace. Following the practice, participants engage in a shared reflection session where they discuss the experiences and emotions encountered during the process. The environment is guided by core principles of confidentiality, non-judgmental listening, and prioritizing individual feelings over offering advice.
