CoderDojo Umeda provides a space for children aged 7 to 17 to develop programming projects with the support of adult mentors. Participants can work on various projects such as Scratch games or website development, receive guidance, and share their creations during the final presentation session. Mentors also participate by developing their own projects, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Attendees must bring their own laptop, including necessary peripherals like a mouse and power adapter. The session is open-ended, allowing participants to arrive and depart within the scheduled timeframe. Participation is subject to a waitlist system, where capacity is managed based on mentor availability, and confirmed attendees are notified via email.
